He comments, <I>"In this painting I wanted to portray the experience of partridge hunting and not just paint a typical depiction focusing on the bird. To most sportsmen, grouse are a small part of the hunt. Our whole family makes the journey north,"</I> Eric continues. <I>"We enjoy the quieter, special non-motorized trails. The boys catch frogs, find beehives to bring to school, collect leaves, and really just examine all aspects of nature.
